Masseria del Borgo is a wonderful example of an ancient Salento rural residence. Originally from the 17th century, today it has been splendidly restored to become a charming residence that welcomes those who want to live a holiday experience with an authentic flavor without giving up the comforts of modern homes. The walls, the high vaulted ceilings, the large and fresh interiors are evident testimony of the past made alive and current by the wooden elements from various parts of the world made specifically to furnish and refine the context. The internal courtyard, which once housed animals, today hides a secret garden full of beautiful plants and trees, embellished with a swimming pool perfect for enjoying pleasant moments of peace and relaxation during the hot summer days. Just 10km from the rocky Adriatic coast near Tricase and 18km from the wonderful white beaches of Torre Pali and the marina of Pescoluse. The historic center of the charming village of Specchia can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot.

COMPOSITION (all on one floor) – 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms

The Masseria consists of: 5 large and comfortable bedrooms, 3 of which doubles and 2 doubles / twins (depending on the needs of the guests) each with an en suit bathroom; large open space living room with dining area and kitchen; pantry and guest bathroom.

Outside there is a large courtyard of about 5 square meters characterized by a pergola furnished with table and benches perfect for alfresco lunches and dinners (up to 12 guests), two relaxation corners with sofa, armchairs, deckchairs and umbrellas, all original pieces from the Burma, garden with 4x11m swimming pool (water without chlorine and heatable).

To highlight: all the rooms (bedrooms, living room and kitchen) have independent access from the courtyard; only two rooms are connected to each other from the inside; one room is also equipped with a kitchenette; only the master bedroom is internally connected to the open space kitchen living area; all rooms are equipped with underfloor cooling and heating. On request it is possible to add 2 single beds for children in two of the bedrooms.

Note: the rental cost includes bed linen and towels, pool towels, WiFi internet, water, electricity and gas consumption. Costs remain to be paid extra: final cleaning € 200; pool heating € 500 per week (if required); winter heating and € 250 (if required). Also on request it is possible to organize additional cleaning services at a cost of € 10 per hour, babysitting and cook service. Security deposit for damages € 750. Pets allowed on request.
